Research Study Objective


The study was carried out in December 2015 to determine the pet owners’ interest in an animal service company. The aim of the research was to determine detailed information related to:

How often respondents had someone other than themselves or immediate family look after their pets
If people would be interested in hiring an animal service company to look after their pet when the respondent was away
Which particular service that an animal service company could provide would the respondent be most interested in
How much people would be willing to spend on an animal service company for their pet
If the respondent indicated they were not interested in this service, to find out why they were not interested

Methodology: Self administered questionnaire (survey) using the Internet
Period: December 2015
Panel size: 500
Panel sample group: Private individuals aged 25+ who have a pet living in the UK,
