Marketest support Oxford Entrepreneurs through the TATA Idea Idol. The fantastic business competition has been running for over seven years and has helped many Oxford students become successful entrepreneurs. |
University of Cambridge - CUE: The University of Cambridge is one of the elite higher educational institutes in the world. Cambridge University Entrepreneurs (CUE) was first formed in 1999 and since then have provided over £500K to more than 40 start-up businesses. These businesses have contributed significantly to the local regions and have produced over 110 full time jobs.Marketest were thrilled to become a supporter of CUE by helping the society achieve their ongoing goal to promote and nurture entrepreneurship within Cambridge. |
NACUE - Varsity Pitch: This premier start-up competition allows students and graduates to come together from different parts of the country and compete with innovative business ideas and concepts. They can enter their idea into seven different industry specific categories, where they will receive expert advice and support. London School of Economics - ESS: The London School of Economics is one of the most prestigious learning institutes in the world, which has attracted over 9,000 full time students from over 140 different countries. To help drive entrepreneurship within the institution, LSE's Student Union Entrepreneurs developed a new venture capital competition through European Student Startups (ESS), which Marketest are proud to be supporting. This is Europe’s first venture capital competition exclusively for students who are seeking the financial support to get their business up and running. |
Imperial College London - Imperial Entrepreneurs': mission is to drive innovation from within the student body through providing inspiration, education, networking opportunities and the chance to learn through action, to produce the next generation of entrepreneurs from Imperial College and beyond. King's College London - Business Club: Combining many different schools of study, King's College in the heart of London was voted university of the year 2010-2011 by the Sunday Times. Marketest sponsor King's College Lion's Den Challenge and Idea Box, competitions encouraging entrepreneurship amongst their students. The largest society in King's College is the Business Club aiming to develop entrepreneurial spirit, also hosting the Idea Box competition which Marketest proudly sponsor. |

The University has 8 Nobel prize winners amoung its alumni and past staff. National University Entrepreneur – NUE2012: The Training Gateway, National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education (NCEE) and UK Trade and Investment are running a national entrepreneurs competition for UK Universities to participate in. The competition enables each university the chance to submit two business plans highlighting innovative ideas, which have been inspired by the opportunities created through the 2012 Olympics. Marketest are extremely proud to be supporting NUE 2012 for this high profile event. |

University of Portsmouth – Portsmouth Centre for Enterprise: The University of Portsmouth offers over 240 relevant undergraduate courses to choose from and has a fantastic reputation amongst students for overall satisfaction. The university has developed; Portsmouth Centre for Enterprise (PCE), which offers regular competitions amongst other activities, to encourage entrepreneurship within students. Marketest were thrilled to support PCE’s Pipeline Programme, which was set up to help graduates in the early stages of starting their own business. |
University of Buckingham – Buckingham Business Enterprise Society: The University of Buckingham is the only independent university in the UK that has a Royal Charter. The university recently set up the Buckingham Business Enterprise Society to foster an entrepreneurial spirit within students on and off campus. The society encourages students to think innovatively through their latest pitching competition, which Marketest are excited to support this year. |

University of Kent – Medway Business Society: The University of Kent is known for being the European University of the UK, with campuses as far a field as Paris and Brussels. The university set up the Medway Business Society in 2010 to encourage business and enterprise throughout the univeristy. The student-led group enables students to gain an in-depth knowledge and first-hand experience of real life business outside of lectures and seminars. Marketest are delighted to be supporting Medway Business Society and look forward to working alongside some of the finest enterprising students in the UK. |
City University London – City Spark: City University London is known for quality education, research and enterprise. After recently appearing in the Times Higher Education World Rankings 2011/2012 for being in the top five percent of universities in the world, it is clear to see that the university is a premier institution. CitySpark was set up, which is the year-round student innovation and enterprise programme. Marketest are delighted to be supporting the first ever CitySpark Summer School, which entails students entering a three day intensive learning process based on entrepreneurship. |
University of Brighton – Santander Enterprise Awards: The University of Brighton has a community of over 21,000 students and 2,600 staff, based on five campuses. It is well known for having one of the best teaching quality ratings in the UK and a strong research record. They also promote an entrepreneurial spirit throughout the university through a competition called Santander Enterprise Awards, which Marketest were delighted to support. The competition provides an opportunity for students and graduates to come up with an innovative business idea, which has real market potential. |

Aston University: is well known for its world-class teaching and strong links to industry, government and commerce. Aston has been a leading university for graduate employment for over 25 years. The careers department has also been busy promoting an entrepreneurial spirit throughout the university through their annual Aston Idol Competition, which Marketest are proud to be supporting. University of East London – E-factor : The University of East London is well known for having a global reach, with a worldwide alumni network of over 37,000 members. UEL is a leader in the field of distance learning and also entrepreneurship. The university runs a competition called E-factor, which Marketest have been fortunate enough to support this year. The annual competition provides students and graduates with an opportunity to win a business package prize that will transform their business concept into a fully functional start-up business. |
University of Sussex : The University of Sussex was the first of the new wave of UK universities founded in the 1960s, receiving its Royal Charter in August 1961. The university soon set up a Business and Enterprise department to help foster an entrepreneurial spirit within the students and staff. University of Gloucestershire – Centre for Enterprise and Innovation : The University of Gloucestershire does not only have a multitude of different degree courses but is also one of the leading sustainable universities in the UK. In addition to making students more aware of environmental issues, the university is also trying to encourage an entrepreneurial way of thinking within their students. The Centre for Enterprise and Innovation set up a Business Plan competition, which Marketest are supporting. The competition has encouraged great entrepreneurial thinking amongst the university’s students, staff and alumni. |

Business Crayon - Enterprise Now: Business Crayon is the UK’s first local business-to-business group buying site. They set up their very own competition called Enterprise Now, which Marketest were delighted to support. The competition provides one lucky winner with a business start-up kit worth £4000. The competition is open to anyone who can come up with an innovative concept. |
Bucks New University - Innovation Lab: Bucks is a contemporary university, which offers a range of different courses and scholarships where students can be guaranteed high quality teaching. This year Bucks have developed an 'Enterprise Festival', where various competitions and events will be taking place.Marketest are delighted to support the fantastic Innovation Lab competition this year. |

Kingston Universtity - West Focus: Kingston University has over 100 years of history and offers fantastic opportunities for student’s development all around the world. The West Focus group was recently created to help students become more enterprising in their approach to learning. Royal Agricultural College – RACE : The Royal Agricultural College is extremely prestigious and has an astonishing history dating back to 1842. In 2006 RAC formed an 'Entrepreneurial club', to encourage students to become more innovative. The club soon developed The Grand Ideas competition, which Marketest are proud to support. |

University of Nottingham - Entrepreneurs: The University of Nottingham is an international university with campuses as far a field as China. The university aims to provide an international education, to benefit the wider community and to conduct world class research.
